She was predeceased by: her father Don Jarrell; her former husband Kelton Pennington; her husband Charlie Powell; her children, Kelton Pennington and Nancy Pennington; and her siblings, Donald Jarrell and Billie Bailey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Smyser (John) of Indianapolis, IN and Terri Strait (Randy) of Lexington, KY; her grandchildren, Jason Smyser (Erika), Eli Strait (Christina), Joe Smyser (Naomi) and Jordan Donovan (Nick); her great grandchildren, Seth, Malcolm, Calvin Smyser, Brayden, Keegan Strait, Sam Smyser, Avery and Grayson Donovan; and her siblings, Jerry Jarrell (Faye), Phyllis Aquino and Garnet Given. She is also survived by loving friends and family.
