It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Joan Thomason of Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Christy and Audrie Packnett Christy; her husband Thomas Dean Thomason; and her sister Earline Tallman. She is survived by: her children, Betty Owens (Robert) of Louisville, Ed Thomason (Phyllis) of Nicholasville and Michael Thomason (Marta) of Corydon, IN.; and her brother Rick Alonzo of Bonners Ferry. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
