She is survived by: her husband Gerald Schumer; her sisters, Elaine Tenenbaum of Chicago and Sandra Morgan of Northridge; her children, Dr. Barry Schumer of Lexington, KY, Julie Schumer of Santa Fe, NM, Jeannie Schumer and James Koskinas; her grandchildren, Graham (Jessica), Emilee (Clayton), Michael, Jeremy (Violeta) and Ryan; her great grandchildren, Maya, Clark, Theo, Madison, Julian and Gabe; and her caregiver Anne Sawyer of Lexington.
Beatrice has elected to donate her baby grand piano to the UK School of Music.
