She was predeceased by: her parents, Preston Eugene Gaunce and Lillian Walker; and her brother Kenneth Preston. She is survived by: her children, Shawn A. Staton, Becky Willard (Austin Willard) and Christopher P. Staton; her grandchildren, Anna Lillian Willard and AJ Willard; her close friend Janice Bohanon; and her sister Emma Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
