With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara J. Harper of Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on October 16, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Flora Jane Bryant Hill (Eugene Harper). She is survived by: her children, Larry Emery (Kay), Samuel Emery, Daniel Harper (Tammy), Teresa Harper White and Sylvia Harper Davis (Ed); and her grandchildren, Sarah Emery, Erin Emery Traux, Samuel Emery Jr., Justin Emery, Erik Emery, Leslie Harper Martin, Lindsey Harper Wurm, Joshua Harper, Camellia Sturz, Erica Kissick, Stephanie Dunaway Kane, Haley White, Autumn Grube, Sierra Budd, Matthew Davis, Tessa Burtraw and Taylor Harper. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.

Donations can be made to the American Lung Association or St. Jude.
