She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Morgantini and Valeria Slauzis Morgantini. She is survived by: her husband Joseph J. Twerdi; her children, Joseph Michael Twerdi and Christine Danielle Twerdi (Calvin Hung); her brother Robert Morgantini; and her grandchildren, Peyton and Brooke Twerdi.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to UK's Markey Cancer Center or Bluegrass Hospice Care.
