She is survived by: her son Hugh Byron Sims III; her sisters, Joan Mullins (Rick), Iva Scaggs (Rudy), Sylvia Clarke and Sue Juelis; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Smith (Marcus), Tommy Michelle Wiggs, Jennifer Wiggs, Kristin Caudell (Daniel), Ashley Durham (Kenny), Hugh Byron Sims IV and Shoshana Sims. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
