She is survived by: her children, Arereian Higgins (Brett Begley) and Larry Thomas August; her grandchildren, Kennisha Demus, Kenyale Demus, Kenny Demus and Kristin Coleman; and her siblings, Linda August, Dianna August, John August, Burt August, Gambino August and Otha August. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
