It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew Thomas (Lexington, Kentucky), born in Pine Hill, Alabama, who passed away on January 20, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Thomas Lee Threadgill and Rosa Lee Fisher (Thomas); and his brothers, Charles Fisher, Jr. and Anthony Threadgill. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Lewis Thomas; his daughters, Andrea Nicole Thomas of San Jose and Dr. Antoinette Benita Thomas (Thomas Cibull) of Evanston, IL; his granddaughters, Haley Ann Cibull, Abigail Emma Cibull and Madison Grace Cibull; his siblings, Sheryl Threadgill Matthews, Cynthia Frazier, Dr. Sarah Giles, Eleanor Fisher, Dr. Harold Threadgill and Larry Threadgill; and his cousins, Ralph Nicholson, Evelyn Hudson and Katherine Pettway. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
