He was predeceased by: his father Felice Simone. He is survived by: his mother Eleanor Simone; his wife Lisa; his children, Nick and Samantha; his son-in-law Justin Sanchez; his grandson Brody; and his sisters, Nancy Fowler (Randy), Karla Schaffer (Robert), Terri Frahlich (John), Diane Pritt (John) and Linda Brown (Roger). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children.

In lieu of flowers the family asks donations to be made to the American Heart Association.
