He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew J Grimes II and Louise Nunez; his stepfather Ray Nunez; his brother John Ray Nunez; his former wife Betty Grimes; and his son Mike Grimes.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Rood; his sister Mary Lou (Edward Calandra); his daughter-in-law Tammy Grimes; his grandchildren, Eli, Ade' and Isaac Grimes; and also, Diane Grimes, Nathaniel Robinson, Andy Grimes, Holly Holmes, John Grimes and Maureen McDorman. He is also survived by his 3 children.
