He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvis Collins and Marjorie Ethel Collins; his sons, Alvis B. III and Gregory Collins; and his brothers, William and Vernon Collins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Anna Marie Berry (Mike), Teressa Meyer (Terry), Wilma LaVigne (Matt), Beth Chapman (Derick) and Annie Collins (Drew); and his sister Alice Marie Gross. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren.
