She was predeceased by: her spouse Buron Lester Day; and her parent Garlin Griffie. She is survived by: her children, Veronica Sue Sparks (Roy) of Lexington and David McKinley Day (Julie) of Lexington; her siblings, Carolyn Sue Asher, Pamela Halcomb and Tommy Griffie; her grandchildren, Erin Sparks Tharp (Craig), Eric Ryan Sparks (Kamrie Neal), Ashley Day Jacob (Luke) and Celena Brooke Day; and her great grandchildren, Jaxon Ray Tharp, Haze Anthony Tharp, Walker Lee Jacob and Adaline Lou Jacob. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
