He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Agatha Lewis Walker and Albert Mitchell Pennybacker, Sr.; his former wife Martha Hackney Pennybacker of Chattanooga; his wife Joan Brown Campbell of Chagrin Falls, Ohio.; his children, Susan D. Pennybacker of Chapel Hill, Janet P. Scott of Lexington Kentucky and David W. Pennybacker of Rowlett; and his granddaughters, Wynston (Spencer) and Brown.
