We are sad to announce that on January 15, 2024, at the age of 84, Albert Eugene McDonald of Lexington, Kentucky, born in Henderson, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, James Clinton, Tom McDonald, Clarence McDonald, Joe McGuire, Barbara Austin, Betty Meredith and Patsy McDonald.
He is survived by: his significant other Annie; his children, Kathy Sowers, Rick McDonald (Melanie), Kirk Woosley Patton (Pat) and Kevin Woosley (Tracy); his grandchildren, Ashley Sowers (Sam), Joshua McDonald (Laila), Samatha Sowers, Katie Glass (Keith), Janey McDonald, Mary Violet Woosley, Anna Woosley, Nathan Woosley (Jillian), Holly Kent (Beau), Sarah Munk (Rich) and Jacob Patton; his great grandchildren, Emma Smith, Khloe Smith, Kollin Glass, Lilly McDonald, Benjamin Puckett, Jack Kent, Ella Kent, Maximus McDonald and Kolvin Glass; and his sister Juanita Chaney. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
The family suggests donations be made in his memory to Thomson-Hood Veterans Center in honor of the excellent care Al received.
