With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Albert Earl McDonald (Lexington, Kentucky), born in Frankfort, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 14, 2024 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, John McDonald and Brucie Dunaway McDonald; and his siblings, Pete "Sadie" McDonald, Buck McDonald, Junior McDonald, Polly Fryman, Debbie Kay McCarty and Mary Buckler.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa McDonald West (Johnathon); his grandson Logan West; his sisters, Ruth Ann Blankenship, Judith Schweinufus, Kathy Buckler and Barbara Sue Trickler (Charlie); his pet Tiny; and his friend Jerry Brumley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Donations are suggested to the Kentucky Equine Education Project (KEEP) or Parkway Baptist Church.
