He was predeceased by: his parent Willie Joe; his wife Phyllis Emmick; and his grandson Alan Hodge, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, BJ Emmick (Laurie) of Owensboro, Mary Margaret Hodge of Lewisport, Dan Emmick (PJ) of Lewisport, John Emmick (Jackie) of Lewisport and Rebecca Cummings (Mack) of Lewisport; his grandchildren, Whitney Emmick, Kristin Rapp (Matt), Logan Emmick, Dylan Emmick, Michal Cummings, Grayce Emmick, Lexi Hodge, Prestyn Sterling Emmick, Nolan Cummings, Landyn Emmick, Waylan Emmick, Natalia Cummings, Jacob Hodge, Hayden Emmick and Wyatt Emmick; his great grandchildren, Blakley and Miles Rapp; and his sister Mary Emmick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
