It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stella Sims of Lewisport, Kentucky, who passed away on September 2, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeff Weedman and Ethel Ford Weedman; her former husband Charlie Decker; her husband Bill Sims; her son Danny Decker; her son-in-law David Patterson; her stepchildren, Harold Decker, Billy Decker, Ruth Smith and Gracie Obenchain; and her siblings, Leonard Weedman, Jeff Weedman, Jr., Jim Weedman, Joe Weedman, Ernie Weedman, Janie Sanders, Mary Ann Smith, Nancy Sinclair and Dorothy Canary.
She is survived by: her children, Sondra Faught (Rich), Patty Dunn (Willie), Joe Decker, Sherrie Patterson, Jessica Koch (Mike) and Derrick Decker; her stepchildren, Carolyn Preston, Jimmy Decker, Lillian Jones, Lana Church and Billy Sims; and her brother Roy Weedman. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
