He is survived by: his children, RJ Simpson (Sue), Nick Simpson (Megan), Wendy Massie (Matthew) and Amber Simpson (Matthew Shelton); his grandchildren, Ryan, Peyton, Mckenzie, Allie, Jase, Corinne, Mollie, Evelyn and Cambron; his siblings, Brandi Clouse and Jim Simpson, Jr. (Kelli); his close friend Peggy Krahwinkel; and his pets, Tucker, Penny, Timmy and Willow.
