He is survived by: his sisters, Ethel Logsdon, Ruby Grant and Nola Oost; his children, Joe Russell Adkins (Sandy) and Joyce Duncan (Dwayne); his stepdaughter Paulette Payton (Dan); his siblings, Carl Adkins and Rosa McCaslin; and his grandchildren, David Duncan (Dana), Belinda Lents (Chuck), Singleton, Ben Singleton (Amy), Dorothy Morris (Eddie), Amanda Adkins, Faith Parkhurst (Dylan), James Payton and Kyle Payton (Gabrielle). He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
