He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irene Francis Holder Fallin and James Taylor Fallin; his wife Sharon Simmons; his stepchildren, Angela (John Ward), Matthew (Margaret Dowell) and James "Bo" Simmons (Kristen Morgan); his grandchildren, Morgan Taylor Fallin, Maxwell Cooper Fallin, Hayden Cooper Ward, Hadley Irene Ward, Charles Taylor Fallin and Emilia Rose Fallin; and his siblings, Bobby Fallin (Alice), Mike Fallin (Cindi), Rita Tongate (Bruce) and Sarah Nikirk (Harold). He was also cherished by his family and friends.
Following Jim's 12-year tenure as Judge, he assisted in establishing the Hancock County Industrial Foundation.
