She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold J. Gerling and Ethel Marie Blackburn Gerling; her son William Dean Smith; and her sister Patsy Hafer. She is survived by: her husband Harold Smith; her children, Jennifer Reimel (Glenn), Harold R. Smith (Pat), Donna Suiter (Marvin) and Bethemy Adams (Lanch); and her great grandchildren, Joey Galmiche (Christy) and Harold. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
