He was predeceased by: his father J. W. Powers; and his brother Bobby Powers. He is survived by: his siblings, Wayne Powers (Charlene) of Maceo, KY, Brenda Hinton (Eddy) of Hardinsburg, KY, June Mingus (Doug) of Cloverport, KY and Sharon Dennis (WP) of Harned, KY.; his sister-in-law Dena Powers; and his children, Colt, Stetson and Jansen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
