He was predeceased by: his parents, Valentine Hatfield and Willimina "Billie" Brown Hatfield; and his sister Barbara. He is survived by: his wife Rilda Hatfield of Lewisport, Kentucky; his children, Greg Hatfield (Melanie), James Hatfield (Natalie), Johnny Hatfield, Brittany Brinkley (Matt) of Lewisport and Todd Haycraft (LeAnna) of Cloverport, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Dillian (Alyssa), Natalie, Mallory, Ciara, Anthony, Peyton, Caiden, Carson, Levi and Bronwyn; and his siblings, Sharon Lindsey (Larry) of Benton, Tommy Hatfield (Marianne) of Long Beach, Tony Hatfield (Kay) of Murray, Jim Hatfield (Cynthia) of Portland, Gerald Hatfield (Paula) of Pleasant View and Roger Hatfield of Greenbrier, Tennessee..
