He was predeceased by: his father Joe Adkins; his wife Jeanie; and his siblings, Russell, Joe Adkins, Ethel Lodgson, Ruby Grant and Nola Oost.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard, Dennis and Gary Adkins (Kenda); his grandchildren, Julie Adkins and Devin Adkins; his sister Rosa McCaslin; and his sister-in-law Jean Keown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Western Kentucky; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
