He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Hunt and Lucian Hunt Sr.; and his siblings, Virginia Blankenship, Jeannie Miller, Peggy Laughlin and John Hunt.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hunt; his sons, Jonathan Hunt of Ft. Thomas, KY and Gary Hunt of Jeffersonville, IN; his grandchildren, Haley and Casey Hunt; and his sister Jo Ann Wilson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
