She was predeceased by: her husband William Hazel McGehee; her parents, Emmitt Lee Slaughter Sr. and Euna Carnall Slaughter; her stepmother Mable Heltsley Slaughter; and her grandson William Lloyd "Bill" Tucker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Betty Smith (G. W.) of Madison, TN, Rebeccah Sue Tucker (Lloyd) of Muhlenberg County and Patricia Petrie (George) of Muhlenberg County; and her grandchildren, Mary Downey, JohThomas Wiles, Vicky Petrie Noffsinger and Greg Petrie. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
