He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Whitson and Mary Lucille Brown Whitson; and his daughter Julie Ellis. He is survived by: his children, Ginger Hammock of Bowling Green, KY and Gregory Warren Whitson (Wendy) of Russellville, KY; and his son-in-law Brian Ellis of Memphis, TN. He is also survived by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lewisburg Cemetery (195 Deerlick Rd, Lewisburg, KY 42256).
