He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Lee Knight and Dorothy Nell Stokes; his wife Barbara Elnora Winsett Knight; his son Jeffery "Seymore" Moore; his brother Paul Knight; and his grandson Joshua Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Jane Ziegler (Davy) of Washington, IN, Terry Lynn Knight of Russellville, KY and David "Day-Day" Moore (Jeanie) of Russellville, KY; and his siblings, Carolyn Cole of Elkton, KY, Marilyn McFerron of Elkton, KY, Harold Eugene Knight (Helen) of Hopkinsville, KY and Daniel Knight of Elkton, KY. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren; 17 Great-grandchildren; 1 Great-great-grandchild.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery (318 Mt Pleasant Rd, Lewisburg, KY 42256).
