He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruble Franklin and Jo Ann Button Franklin; and his daughter Mary Kate. He is survived by: his wife Andra Bagby Franklin of Lewisburg; his children, Nathan Franklin (Jessica) of Lewisburg, Kirsten Franklin of Bowling Green and Austin Franklin of Lewisburg; and his grandsons, Aidan, Talon, Phoenix and Luca.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, Ky., which served David and his father with caring and compassion, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
