He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Phillips and Alpha Shemwell Phillips; his sons, Tom Phillips and Craig Phillips; his brother Gene Phillips; and his close friend Sue Barrow.
He is survived by: his children, Chuck Phillips of Russellville, KY, Chris Phillips of Russellville, KY and Cindy Lewis of Clarksville, TN. He is also survived by 11 grand children; 6 great grand children.
