It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles E. Banks of Letcher, Kentucky, who passed away on January 9, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Banks and Ida Stallard Banks; and his siblings, Clay Banks, Elsie Aouate, James Banks, Elizabeth Bolling, Rosa Tyree, Billy Kay Banks, Jackson Banks, Melissa Banks and Chalice Banks.

He is survived by: his sister Josephine Banks; and also Kathy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews whom he loved as his own children, a special cousin.
