She was predeceased by: her parents, Madge Taylor Mefford and Jake Mefford; her daughter Carolyn Mae Phillips; and her siblings, Johnnie Mefford, Shirley Pryor, Sue Sutton, Leroy, Willard, Wilburn, Joe, James and Jerry Mefford.
She is survived by: her sisters, Callie Quillen of Georgetown, KY and Elezan Fee of Louisville, KY; and her brother-in-law Wilburn Pryor. She is also survived by her pets; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked donations be made to the Harlan Humane Society 167 Belkway Drive Harlan, KY 40831.
