She was predeceased by: her father Herbert Sims; her son Brian Keith Hamilton; and her siblings, Jack Sims, William "Bill" Sims, Anna Lee Alvey and Martina Budwit.
She is survived by: her son Robby Hamilton (Dionalyn); her grandchildren, Haley Sloan (Billy) and Zachary Hamilton (Dulce); and her brother Jim Sims (Carol). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
