He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Randolph Sapp and Margaret May Sapp; and his sister Karen Faucett. He is survived by: his children, Bronson Sapp (Natasha), Stevie Sapp and Tyler Sapp (Jamie); and his grandchildren, Summer Sapp, Hayley Swindell and Taylor Sapp.
