It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shannon Lee Hockenbury of Leitchfield, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 28, 2023, at the age of 42, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: the mothers of children, Dakota Smallwood and Kayley Hockenbury; his daughter Sarah Hockenbury; and his grandparents, Tom and Edwina Clark.
He is survived by: his parents, Garry Hockenbury of Big Clifty and Delta Langley Hockenbury of Bowling Green; his children, Dakota Smallwood and Kayley Hockenbury; his siblings, Garry "Patches" Hockenbury (Danielle) and Kristina Meredith (Jason); his grandparents, Delmer, Leda Williams and Leitchfield; and his nieces and nephews, Ciara Higdon (Cody), Hunter Meredith, Ariel Meredith, Lindsey Hockenbury, Bailey Lee, Jason Lee and Katlyn Lee.
