It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Ann Sims of Leitchfield, Kentucky, who passed away on December 22, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Patricia departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Patricia may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Patricia leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her father Charles; and her brother Chuck Overby. She is survived by: her husband Ricky Sims; her sons, Carl Sims of Leitchfield and Eric Sims of Clarkson; and her sister Sherron Overby. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
