He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul LaRue and Ilene Tabb LaRue; his wife Nancy Strange LaRue; his child Shannon D. LaRue; his brother Gilbert LaRue; his granddaughter Ericka LaRue; and his nephew Tim LaRue.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Eric LaRue (Paige), Chad LaRue (Jennifer) and Shanda LaRue Galey (Dave); his stepgranddaughters, Jana LaRue and Natalie LaRue; and his brother Paul Randall LaRue.
The family requests that expression of sympathies be made through contributions to The Grove Baptist Church, which has played a central role in Ottis's and the LaRue family's history, or Hosparus Health who provided Ottis with incredible kindness during his end-of-life care.
