He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Newton and Myrtle Heath Newton; and his brothers, Junior, Lewis, Jimmy and Paul Newton.
He is survived by: his wife Tami McKinney Newton; his daughters, Magan Newton and Kristina Sol (Isaiah) of Leitchfield; his grandchildren, Emmett and Maverick Snyder of Owensboro; and his siblings, Tommy Newton (Pat) of Caneyville, Earl Newton (Dottie Krause) of Caneyville, Ruth Meredith of Glendale and Judy Haycraft (Ralph) of Leitchfield.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Dermitt Funeral Home (306 W Main St, Leitchfield, KY 42754). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (106 E Walnut St, Leitchfield, KY 42754).
