He was predeceased by: his parents, Carnel Sturgeon and Nellie Marie Bogard Sturgeon; his wife Barbara Cripps Sturgeon; and his sister Ann Potts. He is survived by: his children, Tina Marie Johnson (John) of Russellville, Larry Allan Sturgeon (Erin) of Bowling Green, Charles David House (Sonya) of Palmer, AK and Edgar Lee House of Hamstead, MD; and his brother Richie Sturgeon. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
