He was predeceased by: his parents, Powell Nichols and Pearl Cain Nichols; his wife Judy Armes Nichols; and his sister Stella Carby. He is survived by: his daughters, Tamie Bertram (Billy) and Rosie McCombs (Jim); and his granddaughter Christina Decker (Shane). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren and a special niece.
