He was predeceased by: his parents, Ishmal Saltsman and Maudine Stevenson Saltsman; his wife Betty Jean Decker Saltsman; his brothers, Elwood "Pete", Ed Jay and Nathan Saltsman; his half-brother Elmer Saltsman; and his sister Mary Alice Newton.
He is survived by: his sons, Ricky Saltsman (Danna), Jeff Saltsman (Shirley) and Kenny Saltsman (Teresa); his grandchildren, Makaila, Cordell, Sherry and Penny; his great grandchildren, Garrett and Jacob; his great great grandchildren, Scarlett and Landon; and his sisters, Maxine Stinson, Cora Mae Newton and Magaline Hester.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dermitt Funeral Home (306 W Main St, Leitchfield, KY 42755). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
