He was predeceased by: his parents, David Burnette and Zula Marie Rankin Burnette; his stepdaughter Belinda Jarrell; and his granddaughter Ashley Flannery. He is survived by: his wife Juna Mooney Burnette; his children, Elvin Burnette Jr. and Sandy Coyler of Michigan; and his stepson Vernon Jarrell (Anne) of Ohio. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
