He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Cockriel and Bessie Hayes Cockriel; his son Rickey Cockriel; his siblings, Thomas Cockriel (Donna), Lizziemae (Luke), Donia (Herbert), Deanie (Cecile), Shirley (Richard) and Frankie; and his grandsons, Lucas Dillon, Jordan and Josh Higdon.
He is survived by: his children, Darlene Cockriel, Janice Neff-Cockriel and Clifton Cockriel (Melissa); his grandchildren, C. E., Zeb (Macy), Paul (Leann), Trevor (Adri), Bobbi, Tyler (Darrian), Colton (Allie) and Kelsey (Brenton); and his great grandchildren, Olivia Addy (Zeb), Timberlynn, Luke, Paris, Easton, Zander, Hadlee, Brantley, Rowan, Ella, Beckham, Ryleigh, Aven, Abram, Benny, Elijah, Logan, Lennox and Paisyn.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Dermitt Funeral Home (306 W Main St, Leitchfield, KY 42754). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
