It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Kirk of Leitchfield, Kentucky, born in Urbana, Illinois, who passed away on January 15, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bon Kirk and Harlene Griffith Kirk; and his brothers, Bon and Terry Kirk. He is survived by: his daughters, Hannah Camacho (Dylan) of Bowling Green and Catherine Brummett (Nathan) of Lexington; his stepdaughter Robin Atkins (Steve) of Leitchfield; his siblings, Lon Kirk (Sharon) of Champaign, Illinois and Kathy Ward (Gary) of Mahomet, Illinois; his granddaughter Ava Grace Brummett; and his stepgrandchildren, Katie Frye (Tony) and Gary Atkins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Kentucky School for the Blind or the KY Organ Donor Association.
