It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Jean Houchin of Leitchfield, Kentucky, who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aus Meredith and Ora Bell Meredith; her husband Allen Houchin; her granddaughter Sara Jean Houchin; and her siblings, Georgia Decker, Lodean Decker, Doris Decker, Oscar, Bob, Carl and Roy Meredith.
She is survived by: her children, Nedra Dennis (Ray), Jimmy Houchin (Peggy), David Houchin, Bobby Houchin (Michele) and Joe Houchin (Jeannie); and her close friend Ron "Doc" Knust. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
