He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice Ausbon Sandlin; and his siblings, Herman of Ernest, J. B., Nelline Warren, James, Prentice and Eloise Jarboe.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Everett Sandlin (Lea Amburgey) of Georgetown, Larry Dewain Sandlin (Sharon) of Leitchfield and Melinda Sue Clark of Caneyville; his grandchildren, Michael, Kelly, Tiffany, Sydney, Sara, Jacob and T. J.; his great grandchildren, Chelivia, Jasaiah, McKenzie, Abbryana, Serenity, Kaia, Tobias, Knox and Isaiah; and his siblings, Charleen Lasley, Wendell Sandlin, Cleddie Lindsey, Roger Sandlin, Ovie Sandlin, Lillie Ausbon and Kenneth Sandlin.
