We are sad to announce that on January 15, 2023, at the age of 78, Celia Faye Johnston of Leitchfield, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elza Childress and Mable Kessinger Childress; her children, Jamie Johnston and Melissa "Missy" Johnston; and her siblings, Charles Childress, Wilma Jean Childress, Barbara Day, Morris N. Childress, William "Bill" Childress, Thomas Childress and Ronnie Gene Childress.
She is survived by: her husband James N. "Spike" Johnston; her daughters, Linda Johnston of Leitchfield and Rhonda Jacobs (Kenny) of Leitchfield; her grandchildren, Alexis VanMeter (Josh), Jacob Hodges (Ursula), Chris Jacobs (Michelle), Caleb Milliner (Kali), Tyler Jacobs of Merissa Probus, C. J and James "Spikie" Johnston III; her great grandchildren, Makenzy Johnston, Ally Vanmeter, Sidney Vanmeter, Lane, Payton Jacobs, Alice Hodges, Caleb Milliner II and Teddy Milliner; and her siblings, Helen Sanders (Jimmy) of Cub Run, Janice Willis (Donnie) of Leitchfield, Howard Childress (Patty) of Cub Run and Michael Childress (Betty) of Cub Run.
