It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elwood Dunn (Lee City, Kentucky), who passed away on September 22, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Oliver and Lina Profitt Dunn; his children, Donald C. Dunn, Stevie Bates, Mickey Bates and Connie Dunn; and his siblings, George Dunn, Martin Dunn, Robert Dunn, Chester Dunn, J. H. Dunn, Laura Prater, Rhoda Miller, Alta Dunn, Nettie Dunn and Edna Whitely.
He is survived by: his wife Mattie Sue Gullett Dunn of Lee City, Kentucky; his sons, Warren Hardin Dunn of Campton, Kentucky, Randall Bates of Campton and Kenneth Bates (Tosha) of West Liberty, Kentucky; his daughter-in-law Brenda Dunn of Nancy, Kentucky; and his siblings, Ollie Dunn of Hazel Green and Ermal Brown of Tuscan. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; seventeen great-great-grandchildren.
