Though Scotty Wade may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Scotty Wade touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his stepfather Tommy Bailey; his sister Brandy Walker; and his grandmother Betty Cook. He is survived by: his close friend Ronica Hughes of Ledbetter; his children, Thomas Whisman of Ledbetter and Erica Hughes of Ledbetter; his mother Kathy Bailey of Murray; and his brother Johnny Whisman of Hardin, KY. He is also survived by one niece and five nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hughes Funeral Home (2975 Old Husbands Rd, Paducah, KY 42003). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
